1Player Eligibility

  • All players must be registered attendees of PCNAK 2026 and must check in with their conference badge before participating.
  • Anyone without a valid conference badge is not eligible to play.

2Team Eligibility and Roster Verification

PCNAK Sports Day is a church-based tournament. We want teams to compete with integrity while keeping the process simple, fair, and consistent for everyone.

Pastor Sign-Off Requirement

  • Any player may participate as long as the team's pastor (or designated church leadership) signs off on that player's eligibility.
  • The pastor sign-off confirms that:
    • The player identifies as a Christian.
    • The player is actively connected to (or was once connected to or grew up in) a PCNAK-affiliated church.
    • The player has attended services with that church/fellowship and has served in some volunteer capacity (serve team, event support, ministry help, etc.).
  • PCNAK will not independently verify individual player history. Team captains, together with pastor/church leadership and state reps, carry responsibility for verifying eligibility in good faith.
  • This same eligibility standard applies equally to every team and every region.

Fairness Clause

  • This same eligibility standard applies equally to every team and every region.

Rosters

  • Basketball & Volleyball: Maximum 14 players per team.
  • Badminton: Roster size and format details will be provided in the sport-specific rules.
  • Rosters must be submitted by May 31st.
  • Once games begin, no roster additions are allowed, except at the tournament director's discretion for emergencies.

3Divisions

  • Men's divisions: All players must be male.
  • Women's divisions: All players must be female.
  • Co-ed divisions (if offered): Requirements will be outlined in the sport-specific rules.

4Multi-Sport Participation

  • Players may participate in more than one sport, but the tournament schedule will not be adjusted to accommodate conflicts.
  • Teams are responsible for arriving at their assigned courts on time.

5Safety and Equipment

  • No hard or metal braces or equipment that could injure other players.
  • No jewelry during play (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc.).
  • No hats or headgear with hard components; soft fabric headbands or rubber bands are allowed.
  • Proper athletic footwear is required (non-marking shoes recommended depending on venue).
  • Uniform requirements:
    • Each team must have one light-colored and one dark-colored uniform.
    • Jerseys must have legible numbers (preferred on the back).

6Scheduling and Communication

  • Game times and court assignments will be posted on the official tournament display/board.
  • Teams are responsible for checking schedules regularly.
  • All games start on time. Late arrival may result in forfeit.

7Officiating and Conduct

  • Basketball and volleyball games will be officiated by referees.
  • Referee decisions are final.
  • Foul language, taunting, threats, or physical altercations will not be tolerated.
  • Tournament staff or security may remove any player or spectator whose behavior disrupts the event.

8Facility Rules (Sport Center)
